Along with producing videos, playing and recording music has been a life-long love of Mark’s.

After graduating from University, Mark helped found the Athens Georgia band The Surf. The Band had regional success with radio airtime on commercial FM stations in Athens and Atlanta as well as college radio on the east coast. The Surf also appeared twice on nationally televised Star Search.

After 3 years the band quit playing full-time to pursue other professions. Mark continues to play and record music occasionally with The Surf on reunion shows, as well as, with His Boy Elroy and M80.
